All tank specs: Threat modifiers, in Other.
Current Behavior (The current behavior of the reported function):
This includes Righteous Fury, Bear Form, Defensive Stance, and Blood Presence.
Tanks specs' tank stances' threat modifiers are incorrect. Doing 220458 damage to a boss with RF up, the API returned ~950000 threat on it.
note: I did not test this with anything but a paladin.
Correct Behavior (The correct behavior of the reported function):
Tank stances should increase threat generated by +400%, as per patch notes.
"Threat generated by classes in active tanking modes has been increased to 500% damage done, up from 300%. This applies to druids in Bear Form, death knights in Blood Presence, warriors in Defensive Stance, and paladins with Righteous Fury active."
The damage I dealt above should have generated 1102290 threat.
EDIT: Side note.
Blizzard made all threat divide itself by 10 in the API in 4.3.
See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Reyts40leJA for proof. At 0:43 for example, Diggz has 1.88M damage dealt, and his threat meter shows him at 187.8k threat. -- the threat meter refresh is always slightly behind, hence the difference
Therefore: threat should be:
- threat = damage / 10 * threat_multiplier
- threat = healing / 10 * 0.5 * threat_multiplier
How to reproduce the bug (How did this happen?):
- Be a paladin, and turn on Righteous Fury
- Find a raid boss, and slap him for ~2min
- Check your damage dealt, and your threat
